To The Moon

Recently I came across a beautiful little game by Freebird Games. It's an indie RPG that has the most touching story I've heard in a long time. The music in this game is also amazing and perfect for the story. This is a little sentence from Freebird's website:

To the Moon is an indie RPG/adventure game,
about two doctors traversing through the memories of a dying man
to fulfill his last wish.

Game has some comedial elements but mainly the story is deep and so very captivating, that I played it through in one sitting last night. Word in mind is ...wow.
Best 12€ I've spent in a long time.

Ink things and a serious question

A while back I took my second tattoo. My friend wanted to see pic of it so I might aswell make a post about my marks. First tattoo is on my left arm, the other on my right wrist. My tattoos don't have any deep meanings or heartwrenching stories behind them, I just like them.

First one I got few years back. It's the Air ambigram from the book Angels and Demons by Dan Brown. I liked all of the ambigrams but decided to go with Air 'cos it's the element of Gemini (it's my horoscope). I don't really believe in horoscopes but it kinda helped me to choose which one to take.
As I mentioned tattoo is an Ambigram, which means that it can be turned upside down and it still reads the same word (try wikipedia for further explanation). In my case the Air text is also in mirror writing (Da Vinci fan perhaps? :D) I like the idea that not everyone realise that it's actually a word, not just some squiggles.

The second tattoo is kinda representing my love for theater (and other forms of performing arts) but still no deeper meaning. It's a picture on theater masks, a very classic image in theater world. I found this design from internet and was pretty much sold right away. I like how simple (like a quick pencil doodle) yet complicated it is. I like how their expressions are subtle, not the usual exaggerated faces.

And now to the serious question:
WHY haven't I found these earlier?!

They are friggin' delicious! I am 'a bit' addicted to chocolate so these are just perfect: chocolate cookies with chocolate mud cake filling. You dip them to a glass of milk and... Yum!
I bought a package few days ago and the only complain I have is that the box is already empty.

School work

As I earlier stated, I study theater costuming at Savonlinna, Finland. One of the assigments I was eagerly waiting from the first day of school was to make a historical gown. After long consideration I decided to make a mid 16th century "Tudor dress". It's still missing few things here and there but I thought I'd post some pics of it already.

Standard school outfit

"Does my butt look big in this?"

Outfit consists of smock/shift (the undershirt closest to skin), corset, spanish farthingale, petticoat, kirtle, foresleeves, gown, girdle, some jewelry and french hood. It takes a good while to get into this outfit and you need somebody to help you. But it's very comfy (believe or not) and makes you feel quite regal. :D
